    Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh vs Kenya

i won't bet on Ban beating WI. After all the odds on WI winning are 1/200 and on Ban it's 16/1.

    Best Ever ODI XI

    i would go with gooch.

yeah, but 6 years is a long time not to lead your team to a meaningful victory.

    Sri Lanka in Zimbabwe thread

trying to bring logic from an illogical situation. Zim-228 all out SL-264/1 (Sanggakara-90*, Attapatu-123*)

well if someone has the kind of firepower that SRT has compared to BCL, who do you think is under more pressure??

The wicket is usually very good. There have been 3 scores over 250, and on those occasions, the team went on to score over 290. The groud has hosted fewer than 20 ODI's.

i know but Lawson hasn't had a game for a while and collins is also returning from a long break. not exactly on top of things.

    Best Ever ODI XI

This is ridiculous. Lara was the world's #1 ODI player for almost 3 consecutive YEARS from '95-'98 and he doesn't appear on half these lists. go take a check and see who Tendulkar and Kallis have murdered for their runs. it's not much to talk about.

    lara vs tendulkar

Who is better to look at though? I know that they play on opposite sides of the wicket but who is easier on the eye? Who would you pay money to go and see over he other, if you knew that they were both going to score 100?

    Walsh's forward defence.

i think it is unfair to say that sachin is a choker. he needs the support of his team. the difference between him and LAra is that while Lara has virtually no talent in the team, sachin does.....that's why i'd always reagard Lara as the better player.

i know that 300+ should be the target, but i;m saying that 240 SHOULD be enough to clinch the game. 136 last wednesday was almost enough against a third or fourth rated team.

    *Official* Australia in Zimbabwe Thread

Tell me something; whether or not records do get broken in this upcoming series, and i know that the ICC has sanctioned the games officially, but do you think that those records will really be recognised? I mean (and i have nothing against him) suppose Hayden slams 401* vs the current (weakened)...

1st ODI in the morning in Arnos Vale St. Vincent. If WI bats first, i predict that 240 should be good enough. I think that WI should be able to chase anything that Ban sets.

    Favorite Shots

Lara's Cover drive and dance-down the wicket for 6 off a spinner (ask Vaughn when he got hit back for the shot that carried lara from 305* to 311*) I also like his sweep shot, I think it's a shot he mastered in recent years.

    World Cup 2007

I think you mean WORLD, but there is also the case for England. They are pretty far away from the action too.
