Hughes looking good right now, a lot more comfortable with the ball just outside off on a length.

Hmmm Hughes almost out to the same shot as 1st innings.

TBH should have taken off George earlier. Anyway if the selectors have asked that then I'm all for it as it could mean getting rid of North or Hussey.

O'Keefe will be happy Strauss didn't declare picks up his third 4 fer in a match.

Bresnan out to a roughie, that was messy all round with the slip and then the poor decision.

Guess Strauss wasn't waiting for Bell to make his 200. Maybe 500 runs or 300 run lead.

Grrr that Hauritz. Not only drops the match but also Copeland's 10 wicket haul, not happy.

Hmmm that over by Bollinger was a shocker, ain't going to do his test hopes any good.

Good knock O'Keefe now over to our bowling. McKay did very well on a similar wicket against SL and George took his 8 fer on this ground.

After what Shahzad has done today that was a poor over, got tailender happy.

O'Keefe smokes that one out of the ground but he might not get another ball now.

Yep bowling is the key got too many spinning all rounders being more batting ones atm. Him at 8 and taking wickets would be great to have.

Guess we can throw O'Keefe into the good players ;) Still looks a bit streaky against Monty but almost up to matching his FC average.

Well played Smith would have loved a 100 but showed some fight in that innings and given Aus A a chance for a competitive total on the pitch although looks to be getting better.

I believe so, this is not the first time he has rescued a team when batting down the order. Actually would have had him in there over North during the NZ tour and now having a very good look at his technique I am even more for that.

He did seem to get a fair few balls going towards on the onside when it looks like it should have gone to the offside. But that never led to a wicket taking chance and his defence as mentioned looks solid. Well done on the 50, well deserved and hes taking the attack back to the English.

    ***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2010/11

Given the game was delayed due to rain and the forecast I'd suspect its a seaming wicket. But NSW should be doing better, its annoying how like Australia they don't have anyone that can fight through the tough periods excluding Katich. Not the same excuse for North and Hussey though the MCG...
