    Harry Brook vs Viv Richards

who is in the argument other than Smith? De Villiers?
  3. Johan

Rank them as odi batsmen : Viv. Sachin. Kohli

all of them have been good in test at one point or another, that leaves Dhoni (who was good in test outside Aus/SA), Bevan who didn't have much of a test career and Guptill who is actually just a LO specialist. tho my point was all time greats, so people like — Viv, Sachin, Kohli, De Villiers...

    Harry Brook vs Viv Richards

Root will manage a 50+ average I think, he feels very conscious about it, not that it's wrong.
  5. Johan

just wait and watch, he has played well sometimes but also gotten a lot of lottery runs

Rank them as odi batsmen : Viv. Sachin. Kohli

No lol, I still have enough self respect to not argue "people just didn't know how to play back then" to downplay Bradman or Hobbs.
  9. Johan

    Harry Brook vs Viv Richards

Viv lowball isn't cool, it's lame and forced tbh
  10. Johan

2 innings isn't really indicative of a decline, Brook has outplayed Root this series though, this series kind of has been a sort of coming of age for him, where team is constantly struggling and the best batter has messed up but he has stood up, very important for his career
  13. Johan

    Harry Brook vs Viv Richards

He has a flawed front foot game and has shown problem on turners while Viv at a similar stage absolutely murderered the Quaret on spin friendly wickets, and Root is far inferior to Viv who has decisively outplayed Brook in England.

  19. Johan
