just wait and watch, he has played well sometimes but also gotten a lot of lottery runs

Wasn't referencing you, dunno why PC and DrW thinks Viv and Harry at these stages of their career were comparable
1. I said wait for Brook’s careers to finish before comparing and not be biased

2. I never compared them. I merely said their stats are almost similar which is true.

Joe Root is still there but there is a chance his average may drop below 50 by the time he finishes his career
Why are they arguments out there on if he'll be seen as better than Sachin of he breaks his record.

Has to be the dumbest thing ever.

Root will manage a 50+ average I think, he feels very conscious about it, not that it's wrong.

It’s like when people were rating Anderson as the greatest fast bowler of all time because of his wicket tally lol

Joe Root is arguably the second best test batsman in the last 15 years but doesn’t make him better than Sachin.

Arguably not even in the top 20
WI - Marshall. Holding. Roberts. Garner. Ambrose. Walsh.
Pak - Akram. Waqar. Younis.
Eng - Trueman.
Aus - Lindwall. Davidson. Lillee. McGrath.
SA - Donald. Pollock. Steyn.
NZ - Hadlee.

These 18 names that came immediately to me. I must be missing few other names.

Viv had strength but nothing else. What kind of left hander doesn't have a square drive after all?

Would have been more complete in the t20 era
