Notts make it home just. So 20 wickets in a day in the first class match between the sides that finished in 2 days and then a OD game where 100 is a winnable score and the ECB say that it is a good pitch... yet a out ground that is used twice a year at Maidstone gets Kent docked 8 points when...

***Official*** Australia in England (The Ashes)

Actually it can help as so far England have batted first and always got a big score first up so if McGrath plays he "could" help bowl out England for a lowish score, therefore the Australian batsman wouldn't be under less pressure to score 600 runs just to get a small lead. Iam sure when there...

    Trent Bridge & Oval

Bell obviously had to pay a fourtunte for back to back 50's in the 3rd Test then :D

    Trent Bridge & Oval

Not sure how reliable it is but i've heard that Trent Bridge will be a pretty good bowling wicket with a fair amount of swing. Looking at some of the totals this season it looks like Trent Bridge has flatten out a fair bit though with some bigish scores, well it can't be any worse than last...

Haha yeah, I just got back from Canterbury didn't relize it was quite as hot as it was... but I didn't burn just went a nice shade of brown :D I must say though, that Kent must be the first team who has ever won fielding quite so many non-batsman! But it evened up the contest quite nicely to...

There's is valid points in both arguments, at the end of the day if the players feel they need a break then nobody should hold that against them they have just played back to back Tests and above all two very tough games physically and mentally. But saying that it will harm the Ashes isn't...

We would have had a pretty good lead had Kemp/Fulton managed to catch that simple catch (His words not mine). Would have given us a 8-10 point lead (I think) - Not to mention a somewhat doggy points deduction earlier in the season but hey we are still in the hunt so all to play for, but I would...

***Official*** Australia in England (The Ashes)

Yeah I went to pick up my sisters boyfriend, so stayed over in London... left just before 5am and got to Manchester area about 8am but got stuck in all that M6 roadworks so was delayed, we ended off coming of the motorway and taking some village roads into Manchester. By the time we got to the...

Yeah it was the counties who offered to rest the players not the ECB telling them too.

Hampshire are a very good side, they have the ablity to dig in and while they may not have world class players they work well as a team and in each game someone will always get a score. With Pothas, Bichel, Mascaranhas etc down the order your never quite through them as they can all score runs.

Good day for Kent, but slightly dissapointed that we lost a couple of wickets late on giving Hampshire a good finish to the day, but with the able tail I think a first innings score of around 400 will be on the cards, then just need a couple of early wickets to put Hampshire under some real...
