Surprised no-one has mentioned the 173 not out off 176 balls McGrath scored against Worcester...

I'm guessing Shoaib was having an off day.

middlesex in a very good position against Kent and i hope they can get a victory about 50:50 between a win and a draw i would think

well i had no idea Lancs had signed Murali Kartik to replace Marcus North, he took a fifer today!

thinking about it its not that surprising a decision as Keedy is injured, North was leaving and Kartik has been playing the the Lancs league the last couple of years

Kartik's fivefer doesn't bode particularly well for Lancs, because Essex have the nascent genius of Danish Kaneria. payback for that flat Old Trafford track he had to bowl 60 overs on!

Didn't they make 88 just a week ago?
Yep - but back then they were skittled out by Shoaib Akhtar's six-fer, whereas now they've just been bowled out for 116 by Ryan Sidebottom, Gary Clough and Mark Ealham. :-O

EDIT: Having said that, Notts are 26-4 off 6.3.

EDIT 2: 34-5 off 8.3!

Somehow, I'm very happy we've finished with the Trent Bridge Test...

You're a Norwegian - think how we feel! :p Especially those of us like me who have Day 5 tickets. I was one of those (i.e. the whole country) wishing the the Oval track to be as flat as possible - Taunton-flat would have been nice.

(PS - it's 65-7 now!)

There must be something wrong with that pitch- 110 could be a winning score? What's the record for the lowest target successfully defended?

Notts make it home just.

So 20 wickets in a day in the first class match between the sides that finished in 2 days and then a OD game where 100 is a winnable score and the ECB say that it is a good pitch... yet a out ground that is used twice a year at Maidstone gets Kent docked 8 points when 15 wickets fell in a day, would have made the championship far more intresting.

It's ok iam just bitter that Middlesex are costing us dearly today :(

He'd easily get in the Indian ODI side, the selectors would start foaming at the mouth when they see him bowl above 80mph and then he'd be hailed as the next Kapil Dev or something. Followed shortly after by effigies of him being singed simultaenously across the land, then he'd be in out of the side for ten years.
Haha, brilliant.. Only to emerge as the next Ajit Agarkar..

It would make things more interesting but if Kent beat notts next week and hampshire thrash glamorgan and then hampshire beat Notts and kent lose to sussex hampshire are champions  it COULD happen
