Sobers is considered better than Barrington because Sobers was far more dominant and flamboyant, plus Sobers played for 20 years from 1954 to 1974 while Kallis for 18.

also, in the series where Sobers murdered Fazal, Fazal singlehandedly bowled Pakistan to a win in the final test taking 8/108

so Sobers averages higher in India and England while Barrington in Australia and Pakistan, and obviously New Zealand

Gary's are better against Ind, Pak and England (WI is the competition for Ken in comparision), while Ken's against Australia and New Zealand.
