Cricketer Of The Year
Will attend to it when this poll is over and I have a brief break.Yeah, we should definitely do a limited over rankings for batters and bowlers (and All rounders too).

The trouble is that ODIs have changed so much. They are hard to compare.Yes, we have already done a lot of test ranking polls. Will be nice to do odi for a change.
Voting will be boring if it was easy to compare. "Hard to compare" gets more controversies and more discussions. The trouble is that ODIs have changed so much. They are hard to compare.
Quality player. I seem to be the only one to vote for JR Reid who often gets picked in all-time NZ sides ahead of C Cairns.Am I the only one who remembers Trevor Bailey as a fine all rounder? He took over 100 wickets (2.16 wpm) @ 29.21 bowling in support of quicks such as Trueman, Statham and Tyson and spinners such as Laker, Lock and Wardle. This included 15 5fers.
His batting average (29.76) was hurt by the fact he was asked to open at times where, in 23 innings, he averaged barely 20. However, batting 5, 6 or 7, where he was for the majority of his innings, he averaged a healthy 36.17.
Sadly, I seem to be the only CW member prepared to vote for Bailey - a player with true all-rounder credentials

They're probably my next two fwiwQuality player. I seem to be the only one to vote for JR Reid who often gets picked in all-time NZ sides ahead of C Cairns.
I voted for Bailey back in round 7 but then dropped him trying to get McMillan, Vettori and Davidson inAm I the only one who remembers Trevor Bailey as a fine all rounder?
I almost voted for Reid this round but foreshadowed a Tendulkar vote ages ago and figured I should get it in before LL stopped the poll.Quality player. I seem to be the only one to vote for JR Reid who often gets picked in all-time NZ sides ahead of C Cairns.
I'll only stop the poll when we have too few voters (<8) to make it viable.I almost voted for Reid this round but foreshadowed a Tendulkar vote ages ago and figured I should get it in before LL stopped the poll.
I had him in mind, the balance is quite difficult to get now with players like Davidson and Hammond.... Voted him in this round.Am I the only one who remembers Trevor Bailey as a fine all rounder?
