Not the T20's though. His ODI record is pretty solid. Not sure if he would make it if Kane and Conway were available.Latham looked horrible in his brief stay at the crease. Still getting picked in the BC’s ODI team.
Yeah, a lucky break in a way for Otago. Seems hard to score off the spinners.Dale Phillips an unexpected hero with the ball.
Otago ftwMaybe NZC should consider removing all Canterbury v Otago games as a cost-cutting measure. Result being inevitable, etc.
Unfortunately for Chu he lives on the wrong side of the Waitaki river.Chu once again impressive & should most definitely be ahead of Hay in both white ball formats based on recent form.
I see more Chapman, though not quite as exaggerated with the long handle and long batswing. I hope that means he can be better than Chapman against real pace.Chu once again impressive & should most definitely be ahead of Hay in both white ball formats based on recent form.
Shades of Ravindra the way he carves it between long on & midwicket.
Tbf, Hay had an excellent Super Smash last season and Chu averaged 13 in t20 cricket before this game. I agree he looks in great touch, but he seems to have hit his stride one season too late.Chu once again impressive & should most definitely be ahead of Hay in both white ball formats based on recent form.
