70 and 320 is most likely. But if he doesn't overbowl unnecessarily, he can definitely do 350+.Ok I was taking in worst case scenarios tbh.
For best case scenario,
He has played 43 tests since 2018. That'd be 7.167 tests per match. Let's say, he played till 37 at 7.25 test per year, he'll play 43/44 more tests. And as his WPM has increased noticably in the last few years, assuming that he'll take his future wickets at 4.69 wickets per match, he could take 204 wickets in his next year's.
So that'd be:-
398 wickets in 87 matches.
Don't think it'll happen tho. Conservative prediction of 320 wickets in 70 matches is much more realistic imo.
You are missing the fact that Bumrah's release point is 34cm ahead of his front foot. That'd mean batter's reaction time is way less than regular bowlers. You are smoking crack here. Bumrah isn’t as fast as Peak Waqar. Peak Waqar was genuine express, quicker than Bumrah easily. A genuine express with killer inswinger, just tore the opposition apart. The runup, the action, unmatchable.

Bumrah used to regularly bowl around 150 when he was young. You are missing the fact that Bumrah's release point is 34cm ahead of his front foot. That'd mean batter's reaction time is way less than regular bowlers.
And Waqar never bowled above 153 kmph.
That's a great reference. The Majority disagrees with your pakpassion views.
Joker?? Bro, who gave you that right to call someone joker? I amn’t from Pakistan. If you have read my earlier posts you would know yourself. You are the one who is the joker in the room. Check the votes. The Majority disagrees with your pakpassion views.
Bumrah > Waqar
if not already then very soon.
Even if Waqar lets say bowled a few balls at 155, how does it even matter? He couldn't sustain it. Nobody can. It breaks your back and your body. So it's plainly foolish to be bowling very fast. Steyn also lowered his speed and focused on skill and accuracy. Bumrah is doing the same. You are missing the fact that Bumrah's release point is 34cm ahead of his front foot. That'd mean batter's reaction time is way less than regular bowlers.
(For reference, Siraj's release point is only 7cm ahead of his front foot landing, Waqar's was likely similar to Siraj)
And Waqar never bowled above 153 kmph.
I'd say yes, but on account of his release point...batsmen are always on their heels.is Bumrah faster than Ambrose?
He bowled outswing with the new ball and inswing with the old ball. Until his very later years, he never got them going the other way. His greatness was that at his speed even if you knew the direction of the swing, you still would not know the amount and it would get to you quicker than you think.iirc yes.
I said Pakpassion. I have read enough of your other comments over time to know your extreme views and know where they are coming from.Joker?? Bro, who gave you that right to call someone joker? I amn’t from Pakistan. If you have read my earlier posts you would know yourself.
As I said earlier I would take Peak Waqar over everyone. Even over Barnes or Marshall. Why the f**k do you need to call someone joker? Considering Waqar took nearly double the wickets and was just as good if not better than Bumrah when he was at similar number of wickets.
I amnt really biased towards players from Pakistan. I have always maintained that there has never been a better bowler. Including Barnes, Marshall, Hadlee etc. When I say that I actually mean that even without any bias towards him.PAG has a hard time accepting anything good about Indian cricketers and is extremely biased towards Pak players. Why waste time trying to teach logic where bias rules?
Ok. Give me anything of my comments that favours anyone from Pakistan??I said Pakpassion. I have read enough of your other comments over time to know your extreme views and know where they are coming from.
Not just about Bumrah at all.
Only with a newish ball and definitely not as late as Steyn. Easily telegraphed and dealt with by most competent batsmen of the timeCould Waqar swing the ball away?
And Bumrah can swing the ball both ways with minimal change in the grip and seam presentation.
Could anybody swing it as late as Steyn?definitely not as late as Steyn.
