SR gets equalises by the fact that Gavaskar needed to bat long as an opener.

Will disagree.
Sehwag and Cook were nearly same as opener.
I have seen multiple bowlers/ Captains say they were afraid of Sehwag. Don’t think anyone was afraid of Cook .

I think that has more to do with the fact that Sehwag was one of the best batsman in Asia, Cook wasn't. Not to mention, I don't Sehwag could had batted the way he did if not for Dravid, Sachin, Sourav and Laxman had been in the team. To sum it up, an opener could bat like Sehwag imo mostly if they have a very strong batting line-up and a capable no 3, who could play the new ball well.

I would advise them that Bradman was already selected so they could adjust their vote. If they fail to do so as they don't have 3 valid nominations I would disqualify that vote. In round 2 of this voting I unfortunately had to declare a vote invalid for having a previously elected player included (and not replaced after notification).

Vast difference in the attacks' quality though. Its honestly incomparable. Also, the situations. Plus I believe Lara was sawn off at least thrice by the umps that series.

Well he did the same in 1997 and 2000 also . 1 big Century and lots of 10s-20s.
Lara in 3 tours of Aus in 97,00 and 05 had 3 big century and 1 50 only .
WI might have benefited more if Lara had scored more 75-90 knock and less big century.

Same thing for 97 and 2000 though. Cant compare them with the 2003 pop gun attack of Aus.

Are you really justifying Lara’s 32 average in 1997 and 2000 tour ?
Tendulkar averaged 46 in 99 with a far worse Team against the same attack and also won MoS because 3 out of 6 decisions were highly debatable.
