100%Confident of chasing this @chris.hinton you are favourites surely?
Stokes is going to produce Headingley & Duckett is still going to be there until Bairstow gets a quick 50 off 30 balls to win

Ahhh that's right, on day 2. Just haven't heard it bought up so didn't figure the association.I’ve not seen much of this Test prior to today but didn’t he get hit by a ball when fielding?
he headbutted the ball diving for one a few days ago IIRCVery silly quirk of the rule and that catch would of been given out 9/10 but technically its not out and Starc should of known better. Whatever, he'll probably mop up the tail tomorrow and finish with a 6-fer.
Btw why is Cummins sporting a shiner? Did he sport a novelty beard near Warner during last tests celebrations?
Er….the return of the root
or even better
Captain Crawley
Foakes at six, have you been drinking?
OK by me.Foakes at six, have you been drinking?
Think Anderson will be rested. Not dropped. I’d drop Crawley.Anderson and Crawley should be dropped. Should bring W
Yes he did indeed.didn't root ground the ball from head as he made his way up from the ground? this is ridiculous stuff.
Stop being so pessimistic about your chances. Australia still have a slim chance at pulling through.Let them lose the test first then we talk about drops/restings.
Isn’t the difference that Root’s hand is under the ball while he’s still moving about?Yes he did indeed.
thats more than what your 1st 2 partnerships made so yeaAlso just seen Lyon trying to run a single......wtf?? What was the reaction here at the time? Gotta applaud the bravery but seriously??? Were those extra 15 runs really worth that? Was horrible to watch.
Yeah exactly. Sometimes the ball will come out when the elbow hits the ground in particular. The law says you need to be in control of the ball and your movement before it constitutes a catch - if you're falling then you're definitely not in full control of your own movement yet. That starc catch is 100% not out imo. There is no way the catch can be considered "complete" when you're falling to the ground. If that was actually a legitimate way of completing a catch every coach would be telling kids to incorporate that into their catching technique on falling/tumbling catches to ensure the ball doesn't "pop out".
Right decision was made - Not Out. Time we all moved on and look forward to Day 5.I don't particularly think the catch is a controversial decision - the ball rubbed along the ground. Maybe I'm out of touch but I always thought if the ball touched the ground that's not out.
