C'mon mods.Indian Cricket Chai Sutta Lounge will be perfect. Sutta means cigarettes btw.
Actually it's Chai sutta yaari.Chai sutta is actually a great name
His ODI numbers are a result of bowling the easiest overs. Just like the SA series, he had better numbers than Ash, but Ash bowled tough overs in both games and created chances while the collar chewer was bowling in the middle overs. Good news is that he is competing with Jaddu and Axar and has no chance against them.Collar chewer Chahal actually had a better time playing ODIs.. In T20Is though dude has been miserable for as long as I can remember. His last 20 odd matches in T20I format have ER of almost 10RPO & horrible wicket taking stats.
I am struggling to see which is the worser brag - between Shoaib with this and Gambhir actually bragging about making 3 finals against CSK's 9...Another Shoaib Akhtar gem
“There is a difference between Pakistan and India. The Indians are producing good fast bowlers, but what they are lacking is the rare energy - that anger on your face, that attitude that I am going to just kill you," noted Akhtar while speaking on a podcast alongside Australia legend Brett Lee.
Akhtar believes the difference between the two is due to “the environment and food.”
“You become what you eat, right? My nation eats lots of animals and we end up being like animals. When it comes to fast bowlers, we just run in like lions," he further explained.

‘Fast bowlers lack…’: Shoaib Akhtar points x-factor missing in Indian pacers, says Pakistan players 'run like lions’
The 46-year-old lauded the progress of Indian seam bowling in the recent years but feels the energy to be missing when compared to their Pakistani counterparts.www.hindustantimes.com
Gambhir talks a lot of sense if you just listen to his entire convos. I know sometimes he can be overly critical, but he was sharp AF as KKR's captain. I wish Dhoni would have just said he doesn't care about red ball cricket and Gambhir would have captained for a couple of years.I am struggling to see which is the worser brag - between Shoaib with this and Gambhir actually bragging about making 3 finals against CSK's 9...
Gambhir had to be good enough to play red ball format for India first. The time MSD CBF'd as test captain was well beyond all that. Also, I agree Gambhir was an excellent T20 captain and seems to have done well as a captain in other formats at every other level he has played in too. Does not mean he is not an insecure idiot when he speaks on cricket in the media.Gambhir talks a lot of sense if you just listen to his entire convos. I think Rahul can do it from that situation. His opening batting is what is terrible. But man GG was clutch... In fact India had those players in rarity.. Gambhir Sehwag Yuvi Raina Irfan or even Prime Dhoni were all super clutch players.
Raina Yuvi were probably top tier& both had nerves of steel.
Imagine Kela Rahul or Shreyas Iyer batting in that QF vs Aus in 2011 or SF vs Pak.
What we wouldn't give to have that kind of middle order again.
Yeah Raina gets overshadowed due to Yuvraj and Dhoni as well as his bad test career but played a lot of very good innings in ODIs from the number 6 position. One of the very few guys who can go at it from ball one.But man GG was clutch... In fact India had those players in rarity.. Yeah... to me, another issue was that he was not a good fielder too and he usually fielded short leg where he was OK but we needed much better close in than we got from him.Not a fan. But we would really love to have someone like him batting for India right now. Dhawan looked like a successor but fell off.
I think you are being overcritical now. GG was a decent fielder. Not a liability on the field. And Dhoni was super-strict about fielding when he took over(he still is), Dravid and Ganguly were dropped from the ODIs mainly for their fielding.Yeah... to me, another issue was that he was not a good fielder too and he usually fielded short leg where he was OK but we needed much better close in than we got from him.
He would be a very good guy to have at his best for sure though, especially being a left hander.
