Fixed.Dhoni should be the filth bowler.

I can see Jordan being kept. For three reasons:I think it'll come down to which one of he or Stokes looks most likely to in the nets. Can't see Jordan being kept in the XI.
If Stokes's left foot is as buggered as Victor Marks and Mike Selvey have both suggested all signs point to the big fella.
It would be an easier call if Plunkett were fit, as Jordan replaced him in the last test so Plunkers should just come back in.I can see Jordan being kept. For three reasons:
-English selectors are somewhat conservative. Though I can't say I always agree with that, it seems rotten to drop a guy after one bad test.
-It was bad, but was it that bad? Surely it was inconsistent, with many poor deliveries. But he bowled some jaffa's too. Dropped twice first innings, plus a few edges that went nowhere. In his 6 2nd innings overs, both Dhawan and Kohli edged him for four.....
-He can bat a bit. With Moeen at 5, selectors will want a half decent batsman at 8, I think.
Ojha's strike rate is rather poor. Bloke took a solitary wicket for 165 runs in an FC match at Australia. Besides, all of his Tests, which show a meh average and strike rate, were played in Asia. Ashwin was a step up from Ojha, poor 2012 season notwithstanding. Dropping Ashwin for Jadeja permanently in away Tests was a bad idea, and a step down.If India aren't playing 5 bowlers, they should play 4 pace bowlers.
Either that or pick Ojha ffs.
But if they're not picking Ojha it's so freaking obvious that Ashwin and Jadeja should both play.
He's a seriously tall bowler, not outright quick, but can get good bounce and decent movement. Much better control than Aaron, and also much fitter, but I doubt his viability on flat decks. He plays for MP, who lay greentops or hardtops often, much like other Central venues, and that keeps his figures healthy. He struggled in two successive IPLs, although he was much better in the latest one. I say, play him alongside Bucky (if fit) and Pankaj. Not sure Shami can play another Test in this series, since his figures have been poor across three games.I've heard some about Aaron but what sort of speeds does Pandey bowl at? Is he a tall, hit the deck type like Sharma (in which case I think he'll play) or a swing bowler?
I agree that the most viable option at this point is to play Jadeja and Ashwin alongside 3 pace bowlers. My choice would be Shami, Pankaj and Pandey. I think Shami will come good.Ojha's strike rate is rather poor. Bloke took a solitary wicket for 165 runs in an FC match at Australia. Besides, all of his Tests, which show a meh average and strike rate, were played in Asia. Ashwin was a step up from Ojha, poor 2012 season notwithstanding. Dropping Ashwin for Jadeja permanently in away Tests was a bad idea, and a step down.
The more viable option is to play three fast bowlers, Ashwin and Ranji Two-time Triple Centurion Jadeja in the same XI. Let the spinners, especially Jadeja, bowl 30-35 overs an innings, so that the three pace/swing bowlers get a break. The over count for each of them is diabolical.
He does. Can I ask all you English fans if Jimmy would have the gall to go and bad mouth Kohli or Clarke or Steyn. Picks on guys like Rahane who are still new to international cricket and that too after the bloody game is over for the day.
It later turned out my mate had rather oversold me, or rather, our captain had assumed the level of college cricket at my university was rather higher than it was. After I'd batted so sluggishly, he'd assumed I must be a bowler and so had decided to give me four overs at the death. He'd even let on to the opposing captain that I was a ringer, with a suitably inflated suggestion of my abilities. When I'd then fortuitously dismissed their best player, it confirmed their fears, which explained the nine successive balls nobody had tried to hit. Slow straight bowling had become infused with mystery and terror.
Brilliant, I was nearly in tears reading that article.Cricinfo has a hilarious article on the role of ringers in lower levels of cricket. Excerpt:
I remember being frightened to bowl at a guy who had come in from a neighboring town to play in our U-15 league with a reputation. Took me two overs to realize his technique was highly susceptible to a yorker.

Don't understand how Rayudu gets in and Jadhav misses out
If Kohli could stay in long enough, maybe he would. Can I ask all you English fans if Jimmy would have the gall to go and bad mouth Kohli or Clarke or Steyn. Picks on guys like Rahane who are still new to international cricket and that too after the bloody game is over for the day.
