I predict a double century for Kohli at OTIf Kohli could stay in long enough, maybe he would.
(Kohli a stick on to get a double at OT now I've said that).

Maybe. I am not so sure though given how he had his tail between the legs when he was getting smashed by Clarke and getting hit on the head by Johnson. Sledging is great if it's done properly like the Australians do. Sadly, a lot of cricketers get sucked into thinking it is just about making lame insults that would embarrass a 12 year old. Maybe Clarke or someone can teach him how it is done next year when we retain the AshesIf Kohli could stay in long enough, maybe he would.

Nah. I'm no fan of Jimmy's behaviour, but I don't think he can be accused of only picking on the newbies. From what I can work out he's constantly having a go at just about everyone on the other team. Basically, though, he needs to STFU and stop being such a dick on the pitch. Can I ask all you English fans if Jimmy would have the gall to go and bad mouth Kohli or Clarke or Steyn. Picks on guys like Rahane who are still new to international cricket and that too after the bloody game is over for the day.
Ah yes, the highly sophisticated "proper" Aussie sledging. "You're not ****ing good enough! You're not ****ing good enough!" That basically implies you think they're only doing it to get Anderson banned; I really don't think they are. Reckon India should take it up after the series is over though, as all this only distracts the players from the task at hand. Saying that they should just drop it is a bit weird IMO. Surely no one wants to see a serious miscarriage of justice. And the Indian team/board would also, IMHO, be well advised to draw a line under this episode right now. They need to ask themselves: what would they gain from an appeal - given that even if successful Jimmy wouldn't be banned till after the series is over?
Haydos speaks nothing but the truth tbh.Ah yes, the highly sophisticated "proper" Aussie sledging. "You're not ****ing good enough! You're not ****ing good enough!" (c) Matthew Hayden
When was this?Johnson owning Jimmeh with his rapier-wit sledging here:
BTW I thought we were moving on from this tedious argument, make a whiny thread for whiny people please
You seem to be suggesting they use words at all. They don't use long words in Burnley
Didn't know Wilson wrote about Cricket. WAG.Cricinfo has a hilarious article on the role of ringers in lower levels of cricket. Excerpt:
I remember being frightened to bowl at a guy who had come in from a neighboring town to play in our U-15 league with a reputation. Took me two overs to realize his technique was highly susceptible to a yorker.
