From a purely statistical point of view:

1. So have Pakistan and Sri Lanka (and Afghanistan).

2. If we're talking about pure win/loss ratio, South Africa are slightly ahead.

3. Again, if we're talking about pure win/loss ration, both South Africa and Pakistan have better away records over the last two years.

I'm not trying to suggest Australia shouldn't be the number one ranked team in the world, or anything like that at all. I just thought I'd have a look at some statistics.

Yes that would be a fair point if I was suggesting SL, PAK or SA were crap teams away which I didnt.

So what you posted in no way discredits Australias away record or helps prove Aus is crap.

Social is arguing that Australia is a crap ODI team and are not number one, your statistics dont support that in any way so I dont see the point in you posting them.

I posted the statistics to support my reasoning that Australia do have a good away record and can be considered the number one team. What is the reasoning behind your stats do they support Socials points or did you post them with another point im mind.

Kind of with social tbh. Rankings or otherwise, the team we're currently putting on the park is pretty average and it honestly isn't a huge shock to see them being beaten by the Windies.
