The West Indies Cricket Board named the following squad for the 2 match Digicel T20 series which begins on March 27th. Darren Sammy (Captain)
Dwayne Bravo (Vice Captain)
Carlton Baugh (Wicket-keeper)
Nkrumah Bonner
Darren Bravo
Johnson Charles
Fidel Edwards
Garey Mathurin
Sunil Narine
Kieron Pollard
Andre Russell
Marlon Samuels
Krishmar Santokie
Dwayne Smith

Only disappointment there is Mathurin.

Fielding didn't help for a start.

The ground is small if you get under the ball and have a fair bit of strength its gonna sail.

If the WI can do it with only 1 batsman and a pair of slogging bowlers the Aussies should be able to do something similar. The fact that Lee was able to just clobber about 50 runs in 24 or so balls says enough.
Sorry but calling the likes of Russell a "slogging bowler" just isn't accurate at all  , the lad is averaging near 32 after 20 one dayers and hit a 92 not out against India not that long ago, Sammy is also dangerous with the bat aswell, our blazing towards the end of the innings is nothing new, we done it to India time after time just three months ago and they had the same dejected look on their faces whilst walking off the field as the Aussies had on Friday!! ,

Anyway back to the series, well we've been brilliant to be honest, whats giving us a chance is the bowling which has been our strength, Narine continues to look fantastic and he's giving the whole team confidence imo, tomorrow will be tough but i have faith that we'll put up another fight,

In closing whats even more encouraging is our team is way younger than this Aussie side, so one can only imagine what this unit will be doing in a few years.

He's not a proper batsman not by a long way, His defence is non-existant perhaps bowling all-rounder would be much more favourable but he's not going to be batting in the top order any time soon and my point was made more towards the fact that the lower order of the WIndies was just carting the bowlers toward the end and the Aussies never really tried to hit out that often or properly.

In the case of India, that look of dejection while abroad is just there away strip.

In a few years? Depends who they face. Will be an interesting series when they get to England for the OneDayers, might go watch the one at Headingley actually.

In 2010 Russell was playing in a fairly average local league in my area, four divisions below the Birmingham Premier League. Bit of a step up now!

Sammy to Watson, no run, 74.3 mph, Appeal for an lbw and the umpire gives him out but Watson immediately reviews it, big inside edge onto the pads, he was forward to defend, the third umpire takes his time but it was obvious at first glance, Peter Nero's decision has been reversed

Watto reviewed an lbw and it wasn't ****
