You still havent nominated who you think is the nuber one ODI team. My bet is you wont either.
I will try to make this obvious for you

THERE IS NO CLEAR NO.1

Oz may be ranked top but they are being beaten by the no. 7

The world champs are crap away from home

Pakistan have just won the Asia Cup but were recently beaten easily by England

In summary, THERE IS NO CLEAR NO.1

Happy?

OK maybe you just dont know how to read or cant understand how cricket is scored but Australia have won lots more games away than they have lost which means they are a very good team away from home.

Perhaps this is the very first match you have ever watched which could explain why you think that the West Indies are the number one team.

Great stuff from Lee but ridiculous selections

Lee is no better than a no. 9 and that is being generous

Oz have beaten England 8 out of their last 9 matches. Australia have won %75 of their matches against England in the last two years.

Which team do you think is ranked higher or better than Australia in ODI matches, are you able to answer this question or is your answer that there is a better team but you just cant name that team.
LOL why did you pick that number of games, Aus won the one day series after the Ashes but the series before in England in 2010, they only managed to win the two dead rubbers after England went up 3-0.

Just like England did in 2007 in the CB series you get up after been beaten in the test series, just like England have done to Pakistan and to SA in 2008. It's why I've always preferred one day series before Tests.

Pity someone couldn't have stopped with him for a bit more to take to down to the wire, still new top score for Lee.

Because Australia have only lost one of its last eight ODI matches against England.

And on top of that Australia have won more matches away from home than they have lost over the last two years.

And because Australia have the best record agaiinst any team over the last two years.

And because Australia have the best away record over the last two years.

And becuase Australia have proven they are the best ODI team more than once.

But mostly because you get posters that judge rankings based on one match.

Narine has had an economy of around 2 for this entire series, just wow. He's pretty special.

Don't know how he'll go in tests, but he turns it both ways and is incredibly accurate. Don't need much more as a bowler.

That is nothing unusual in sport Social, being the best team does not ensure you will win every match. You will understand this a bit more after you have watched cricket for a couple of years.

You know **** about cricket lad.

Last two years Aussies have played 29 matches away from home winning 16 and losing 11.

Before making yourself look stupid you should check.

From a purely statistical point of view:

1. So have Pakistan and Sri Lanka (and Afghanistan).

2. If we're talking about pure win/loss ratio, South Africa are slightly ahead.

3. Again, if we're talking about pure win/loss ration, both South Africa and Pakistan have better away records over the last two years.

I'm not trying to suggest Australia shouldn't be the number one ranked team in the world, or anything like that at all. I just thought I'd have a look at some statistics.
