Surely Collywobble will come back into the side?
Yes, to replace the injured Bell. Question is whether Morgan should retain his place from the Bangladesh series. Tbh he was probably expecting to be dropped until Bell did his foot.

Given the ominous look the Pakistan attack has I doubt the likes of Morgan and Bopara would be too sorry to give them a miss

Morgan saved Middx's bacon today with a match-saving 58no.

And Monty got another 5. He now has 32 wickets at 26 this season, which represents something of an improvement on his previous form.

Sussex need to get some results soon. Our season, which started so well, is in danger of stalling.

A very good question - I don't pay the best part of 50 quid a month to watch the sort of **** Sky Sports are showing this afternoon :@

Yeah, It's been a nightmare this weekend after the Pak-oz match ended. Honestly Masters football and Darts. I'd like to watch a sport where at least half of the participants aren't drunk.

What particularly annoys me is that I assume the commentary team and every other ****er covering the test still gets paid for the day - Cricket Writers on Tv this morning was excellent, more so than usual, and they could very easily have carried on with that all day, taking it in shifts, if it was really too much trouble to take the cameras to a county match

Lumb back in the side, and back with a half century and as top scorer in the innings. Hopefully he'll kick on from here and make some bloody runs. Wonder if he'll play on Monday in the FP T20 Quarter Final.

Another good innings from Hales, but he'll probably miss out on his ton due to Patel (get him back in the ODI team!) playing just as good.

Regulation win for Yorkshire and i see Taylor is playing Warwickshire on his own.

How long till Taylor gets a call up as he is obviously a class act?

The Unicorns have done it without an overseas player as well - at least not one who's played international cricket (Glen Querl is Zimbabwe-born). Still, Shakib must be feeling at home.

Ravi 88* against Northants to lead Essex to victory. How was he not in the 12 for the 1st Test? He's in ridiculous form. His scores of late off the top of my head include 59, 89*, 164, 105*, 45*, 142, 102 and now 88*. He's having a superb 2nd half of the season. WAG.

He's not in the 12 because there are others who've actually taken their chance in Tests and are ahead of him.

If Bell were fit, he'd be even further down the pecking order, and rightly so IMO.

I have no problem with Bopara not being in the squad,he failed last time he was in the side and a decent month doesn't mean he should walk straight back into a side that has done better without him.If he carries on this form and we get an injury or a player needs dropping then i would accept he should come in but as it stands i wouldn't want him on the plane for the ashes as he crumbled against them last summer and his technique was ruthlessly exposed.

154 needed to reach finals day for the first time, not too unhappy to be chasing that but the batting has been pretty inconsisten all year so far from confident.

Briggs excellent again though, the youngsters have all done very well this year. Is really good to have 4 players aged 20 or younger in the side.
