Reminds me of Broad before when I think he got the first 6 wickets to fall for next to nothing then ended up getting smashed so ended with like 6-80 off 13 or thereabouts.

Yeah, Broad not quite doing the full ten, but career-best figures. Shows his undobted improvenent recently.

Adil really is having a top season, must have moved ahead of Tredwell and Panesar now, as second spinner for England. Could easily be our number six too, for when Colly retires if Yorkshire bat him in a proper position.

All looks very promising for England for the future with Finn and Shahzad coming through.

Mixed feelings about Surrey's huge win today - inasmuch as I was planning to go tomorrow. Still, I'll take the 24 points on balance. Should put us firmly mid-table, with promotion, unlikely as it seemed at the end of May, not out of the question.

Somewhat depressed to think there's only one more CC match at the Oval this season, though.
