Cricketer Of The Year
Without looking in detail, I got the impression he was bowling best out of the spinners domestically.Nathan Hauritz has being called up as cover for Jason.

I'm sure people said that about Hauritz once upon a time.So Beau Casson, never to play again?
Get's so much **** on this forum. He's not amazing by any stretch of the imagination, though.Without looking in detail, I got the impression he was bowling best out of the spinners domestically.
And Simon Katich...I'm sure people said that about Hauritz once upon a time.
I rekon he'll play too, but he shouldn't.Have a feeling Haury will play, Adelaide will be as flat as concrete and they won't want to risk overrates at the moment.
Doubt he'll get "murdered" as such. Would be surprised if he actually took any wickets though.Heal, etc.
Not looking forward to Hauritz getting murdered.
Reckon he'll still go for 4-an at best.Doubt he'll get "murdered" as such. Would be surprised if he actually took any wickets though.
Agree with this, could see him returning figures around 1/80 off 25 overs in each innings.Doubt he'll get "murdered" as such. Would be surprised if he actually took any wickets though.
Was going to say he'll probably take 4 for the Test. 1 in the first innings, 3 the second.Reckon he'll still go for 4-an at best.
Harbhajan? Is that you?Symonds is a rock ape
Or Tendulkar. 20 years of International cricket. 150+ tests, 400+ ODIs. Clean record. Bloody hell, he could kill a man and get away with it during his heydays.
These are really silly arguments. What's the point? Dravid is Dravid, Symonds is Symonds. Everyone is born with different inclinations, interests and tendencies. Flintoff, Ponting, Warne have also gotten themselves into trouble for various things in the recent past. What you're saying is basically "why cant person X be like person Y?" Well he can't - that's just the way it is.Yea, well it doesn't excuse them either. I've never heard about Adam Gilchrist or Rahul Dravid or Michael Vaughan bar brawls and drunk fishing trips. Is that a coincidence?
I think you are selling new zealan batsmen long here.I have a feeling he will retrict some runs and might get a wicket or two.Reckon he'll still go for 4-an at best.
Part of culture? Isn't Symonds catholic? These are really silly arguments. What's the point? Dravid is Dravid, Symonds is Symonds. I see absolutely nothing wrong with Symonds did. Maybe drinking and pubbing isn't a part of your culture. But it IS a part of Symonds'. So you gotta respect that, instead of being such holier-than-thou judges. I have friends in Scotland for whom going to a pub every weekend with their friends is just a long-standing tradition. As long as they don't start fights or act violent there's no issue.
