If Federer lost a set to Fish, every tennis commentator would say he's in crisis.
Uhhh, Fish beat Federer this year in straight sets.

I also think Nadal is just prone to losing more sets, even when he's in prime form. He's always had a habit of winning matches in 4, simply because he's a grinder and doesn't really dominate on hard courts.

Prob right there - different styles and all that. Sorry I missed the Nadal - Fish game, they've both been awesome of late.

Edit: A "Nadal - Fish" is a type of fish found around Spain and for two weeks each year in the River Seine

Fed to the semi in straight sets (y)

Molik pulls the pin, kinda disappointing how her career panned out. Looked like she'd be solid top 5-10 player there for a while in '05 until injures and ear infections (of all things) cut her down.

A real shame for her I reckon. She was playing so well before she got crook. Another kick in the guts for Aussie tennis.

Ridiculously good third set here. Novak showing signs of losing his head when he was dominant in the first 2.

I am big Novak fan and i think he could have finished the game off in the 3rd set itself, when Roddick was under the pump, but he screwed it up, giving Roddick the glimer of hope to make a comeback, and if this game goes into the 5th set than Novak will have serious problems in dealing with Roddick, who can then use the home-support to his advantage.

roddick shoots off his mouth again, provokes a better player and gets whupped for his pains...good to see that the andy roddick "entertainment show" is done for this tournament, even for a partisan crowd, how pathetic was it to boo novak at the end....now federer awaits, if feds can bring his a-game into the match, should be a terrific semifinal...

He threw up all over himself when he served for the match with that terrible approach straight back to Novak, and that double fault.

Appropriate they cut to Greg Norman sitting in the crowd as that was going on.

That's why people don't like Novak. He really oversold what was a choke by Roddick. Two double faults got him back into that set, not his "heart" as he was alluding to.
