Well Federer survived, that's the main thing.

He played as poorly as he has all hard court season & won. Muller might give him a bit of a scare, but he's a qualifier and at some point his run has to end.

Normally I'd laugh at that but Roddick is playing some damn good tennis. Normally chokes against your Nadal and Federer but ya never know. He's a cool guy, can't help but want him to do well.

Novak is playing ordinary tennis but winning, so if he hits his strides he'll win the tournament IMO.

Roddick has a good chance in this Open except for the fact that he's Andy Roddick.

Nevertheless, fatigue is getting to these guys. I'm not sure that anybody is a guarantee at making the Final at this point.

Third latest finish ever for a session of tennis at the US Open apparently (2:10am). Was the first full match I've managed to watch this tournament actually, and after Fish took the first set thought we might've been in for an upset. Quality display from Nadal after that first set, Fish seemed to go off the pace particularly with his serve.

If Federer lost a set to Fish, every tennis commentator would say he's in crisis.

Sounds like it was a good game. Fish has been great this US Open imo.
