Well done! Good win to beat Bangladesh.

I really don't want to bat four though, I bat 3 for the CWXI and have done so since Eclipse retired. I know I hit a hundred there, but really what's the point of me batting 4 and not 3? If you put both openers together, which they shouldn't be if you go on the experience thing, then I see no difference it would make with me batting 3. In fact, I'd have a better chance of forming good partnerships with them.

Good to see Cloete's promotion to selection committee hasn't stopped him spelling team with an I in it.

Might I suggest a full strength lineup, if everyone has played now? Might be good to get a bit of experience together as a unit before the season starts.

Or alternatively we could give another chance for the fringe guys to make their claim for a place and test out the lineup without the internationals. Thoughts?

Okay, since the concensus seems to be to try things without the stars, what about this for a team in the final OD game, with none of the internationals aside from Liam.

An extra bowling option on top of what we might use in the regular season, but it gives everybody an extra chance to stake their claim. Cribb goes up to open with Cloete out, Demeza, Patrick, Collins and Currie to do the bulk of the bowling work, with Popat, Fuller and Camps combining for the rest. Crampton stays behind the stumps after some good batting form and with Jellett still deported.

Has that been sorted or is it my imagination?
