My wicket taking has really dried up lately.

3 wickets in the match, just isn't enough for someone who wants to be a strike bowler.

Up to 69 for the season now, average creeping towards 30, it was down to 21 during my purple patch.

Yes yes, i'm going back to the nets..... need to work on my yorker.

At least you were in form when we still had a good chance of making the finals... i've just started to bowl well but it's too late. Got my average down a bit, 67 wickets @ 26.25, econ of 2.12 - would prefer some wins though. Also I think I deserve some kind of award for my 20 not outs from 35 innings.

Fuller just 3 wickets away from a 50-wicket debut season, to go with 1000+ runs. Good stuff.

Would be a nice little milestone to pick up. I'm looking forward to working on my consistency in the off-season with some club or perhaps first class cricket though. I don't convert stats into big scores enough with the bat, and often bowl entire spells where I don't even look like getting a wicket.

Hopefully with some experience under my belt I can come back bigger and better next season, playing the spinners a bit better with the bat and improving my variation with the ball.

Yeah the table doesn't look to good from our prepective, 75pts off 2nd in FC and last in 1D. Well maybe it time to blood some youngsters for next season

During the off-season clubs from various other parts of the world will advertise for positions, and you can apply for them.

Harris, Tucker and Loganathan will be featuring in the next couple of OD games. If we can assure ourselves of a second-to-last finish in the next 5D game, they'll play the last 5D too.

We've got enough spinners playing already Liam (especially if Halsey and Popat play), I'm just as happy to not be considered for the final 5D match, I think Tucker deserves a 5D crack and Tharmi should get a shot at 5D cricket before next season, at least to give him a taste of big cricket. At the very least, I haven't done anything to deserve getting another 5D game this season.

Fair enough Liam, I was more meaning that I haven't had as much success in the Smash tourney or the one-dayers this season. Hey, if I play, I'll be out to take another six wickets. If not, I'll be the first one to cheer on the team. I was only thinking of young Tucker and Loganathan

That's a 3-spin attack on the quickest pitch in the Dev League.
Collins comes back into the side after being a 5D specialist for most of the season. Fuller, Popat, Patrick, Halsey and Demeza are rested. Fitzsimmons and Cloete are on international duty.

Young and Loganathan come in for their first games of the season, with Harris and Tucker returning. Collins and Camps will open the bowling, then hand it over to the offspin.
