This one came out of nowhere lol. This place never descended to India - Pak war ever iirc. Wishing you a merry good time here though, until it lasts.I asked for his bowling record mate.
And for the record...just five years?? LMAOOOOOOOO. You've decided to grant a player atg standards after JUST 5 years of stats?
Cant blame you. India does have low standards when it comes to making their atg lineup considering their bowling history. Ofc one day i hope india can try catching up to Pakistan's ATG team
if you listentome, you will realize the truth, and it shall set you free. Seems everyone except Indians are ATGs, in the multiverse of thee.Ashwin averages 40 and Jadeja 36 with the ball in tests against SENA in away+netural conditons. ATG my ass. What a disgrace to the tag
the moderation team has taken this into account and...no. not quite. It's perma-ban worthy IMO.
If he's selected at all.The way Ashwin is bowling and the immense talent that Rachin brings (if he gets picked) means that Jadeja might only be the 3rd best Ravindra in the final.
Except Ashwin's name is not RavindraThe way Ashwin is bowling and the immense talent that Rachin brings (if he gets picked) means that Jadeja might only be the 3rd best Ravindra in the final.
Pontinf being bad in india isn't as much a factor as it's made out. He never really played there in his prime (2002-2007). The only time Aus went there in 2004 he was injured. And when he did go there in 2008 i think he was ok?Aus accommodating Ponting on tours of India because they had nobody better cannot be furnished as an argument to burnish his credentials as an ATG.
Burger is more subtle with his baiting. You can do so much better than whatever this is an attempt at.I asked for his bowling record mate.

Ponting played 25 innings in India and averaged 26. If that is not a definitive indicator that he was a comprehensive failure here, nothing else is.Pontinf being bad in india isn't as much a factor as it's made out. Definitely not forgiving him for it, it's not a great excuse, just saying it's overblown and not as bad as the stats suggest.
Don't agree with the bolded. Indications aren't that at all IMO. But you're mostly correct. As I said, it's not a good excuse, he was bad there. The 2001 series was the biggest failure, he was starting to find his feet back then and completley **** the bed.Ponting played 25 innings in India and averaged 26. If that is not a definitive indicator that he was a comprehensive failure here, nothing else is.
He barely did ok in 2008, scored a hundred in first test, then reverted back to his mean in the rest. They were all flat pitches too.
Scored a few half centuries in India in 2010, which was his ceiling. His best series in India strangely happened after his peak ended.
Had he played in India more often during 2001-2007, all indications are that, the peak would have never happened.
To do this, he would need to average 70 over 6 innings in another full series. That is an over-estimation of his skills in India. For the 3rd time, I'm not saying it would have solved all his problems or nullified his issues. Just that it accentuated it. Shuffle things around a bit and maybe he averages 35 in India instead of 26. It's still not good. And tbh 35 is probably still pretty generous
This is a dumb argument, but not if these hypothetical new series is replacing 1 or 2 of his bad ones.To do this, he would need to average 70 over 6 innings in another full series. That is an over-estimation of his skills in India.
