De swardt with 90 and 5fer to start the season is solid. Really liked the look of him in that NZ series. Shame Forrester is a thing and Mulder seems to have figured out international cricket.

Doesn't hurt to have depth should definitely be in the A squad.

Thats gotta be a pretty dire indictment of the bowling though.

He does seem to be an allrounder proper these days if you watched the t20s he saved staat in quite a few games with his batting,

Honestly I was surprised enough to see a 40 year old Phangiso still playing First Class cricket, let alone making runs in it

It can only be good for staat youngsters I would think also while piedt is away good old shoulders, remember we always cry that the experienced ones were or are overseas or retire early for t20s and we left with the youngsters.
