De swardt with 90 and 5fer to start the season is solid. Really liked the look of him in that NZ series. Shame Forrester is a thing and Mulder seems to have figured out international cricket.
Doesn't hurt to have depth :) should definitely be in the A squad.

Honestly I was surprised enough to see a 40 year old Phangiso still playing First Class cricket, let alone making runs in it
It can only be good for staat youngsters I would think also while piedt is away good old shoulders, remember we always cry that the experienced ones were or are overseas or retire early for t20s and we left with the youngsters.

Is there any schedule for the Colts comp this year or did it disappear again.
The value can be seen as Matthew De Villiers and J James got experience with big hundreds.

Guys I am following the 4 day cricket and can anyone name for me any black african player that excites them?
besides the gauteng left arm fast? no batsmen and no allrounders on merit , the 3 ba system is useless, atleast in rugby they look at all non pocs as the same basically crickets system is hurting coloured and indian players imho.

The only one on the domestic scene that shows some promise for me is meeka-eel prince. Not done in 4 day cricket so far.

Brevis with a ton. Definitely pushing for the chance to be the next cab off the rank. We know Bavuma is a doubt for the 1st Test so I wonder if he is a bolter above Rickelton?

Also can someone explain to me how Fortuin has reeled off two Hundreds in Franchise cricket? That's more than Muthusamy has at this level right @SeamUp ? Genuinely looks like a decent 9 at International level.

Maphaka is by far the most exciting BA talent..
Next would be Nqaba Peter for white ball cricket (Leggies are goldust and he's still very young)
I would say Simelane has some potential but pretty raw ..

As for batsmen Qeshile is still the most talented U30 BA bat at domestic level , I'm waiting for Richard Seletsane to get a chance at domestic FC level he looked good playing for the U19's ..

But the reality is we have nowhere near the level of depth in BA cricketers to compete at the top end of international cricket if CSA wants to make The Proteas BA dominant .

Useless spin bowler at tests though his main job.
