I might have the debating skills of a dodo and spell like a orang-o-tang but you are a kite.
I'll have either of these definitions, please...

1 : any of various usually small hawks (family Accipitridae) with long narrow wings and often a notched or forked tail
2 : a person who preys on others

It won't have escaped the notice of many members that this afternoon has seen some of the most idiotic, banal and downright pathetic postings in the history of the forums.

Things like this are bound to happen as a site grows, and as an isolated incident in itself something like this doesn't really bother us. What does, however, is the use of this situation by long-standing moderators to make snipes at the members.

Comments such as "You seem to have all the debating skills of a dodo, the spelling abilities of an orang-utan with a typewriter and the cricketing knowledge of a sack of lemons. The only thing you are capable of keeping on the end of a piece of string is a kite - and then you'll go and make the mistake of taking it out of the packet.
" leave nobody in any doubt about the motives and thoughts of the poster.

What we need is senior moderators to keep the junior moderators in line.

I'm not a moderator, numbnuts - just a member.
Where we differ is that I'm likely to still be a member tomorrow.

no because flemings batting ability doesnt merit him selection into that side....and no matter how good a captain you are you dont merit a place in the worlds best XI if you're not good enough as a batsman or a bowler.
Yes, as clearly proven by Brearly.

Ooh, two lots of imitation in a thread.

I'm honoured.

Once I realised what you were saying it all made sense.

Oh, how clever, editting my comment in a quote - do you realise how pathetic that is, and how it proves you're losing this one big time?

Frankly, I'm totally baffled as to what Scallywag is getting at here.

I believe he (very misguidedly) thinks he has a point here, when he quite clearly does not.

Oddly Marc has dissapeared and you have taken his place to say the crap quoted above.

Funnily enough, most people work for a living, and can't be on here 24/7.

You've already apologised for this once, but if you want to repeat the apology then go ahead.

Nutter on the keyboard, more like.

Give it up, lamebrain. This is one you can never win, only you're too slow to realise it.

Get real loser I'm just getting warmed up.

You remind me of Vaughan, bit of a dimwit with a poor record and a legend in his own lunchbox.

I'm intrigued as to the presence of the fifth star here.

If it's what I thought it was, I've not been called that since I was eight.
