Not everyone on this board. I was fought in this point in many threads.lol?
Everyone rates away performances above home performances, given similar strength teams.

how many times are you going to shift the goalposts broHis Aussie stuff was a good away performance and I give him credit for that.
But you are comparing him to ATGs my friend so we need great away performances, not cute little 3fers and Ashwin has none.
you were fought on it because you dismissed any sort of home performance to being beyond meaninglessNot everyone on this board. I was fought in this point in many threads.
Exaggeration.you were fought on it because you dismissed any sort of home performance to being beyond meaningless
Strawman.Home performances actually ****ing matter and to dismiss them for anyone is literal stupidity. It's not being smart and analytical, it's being braindead and hopeless. The fact that anyone can have the capability to post on here while believing wholeheartedly that bullying opponents at home is a deficiency for any cricketer is incredible. It shows a deliberate focus on turning off your brain and chugging that copium than any reasonable standard of evaluating players.
Yes but Ashwin won't be remembered really for a 3fer all said and done. His wasn't the most notable performance in the series victory.how many times are you going to shift the goalposts bro
your remark was that he will be forgotten after retirement because he doesn’t have any away performances impact and i showed you in detail how much of an impact he had in India’s 1st 2 test series wins ever in Australia 1 of which is in contention for being 1 of the greatest series wins of all time
i would rather have a cute little 3fer that culminates in historic series wins than a 5fer for the stats books without impact. just to prove that half the Indian fans alone wont remember that Hardik was our 2nd last pacer to take a 5fer in England and that was a really special spell yet it will only be brought up as what if in the future for Hardik’s potential test career
before you shift the goalposts again Ashwin will be remembered for the one simple reason that he has the best youtube channel among cricketers even if he retires tomorrow
Hopeless. I too can make one word dismissals of your arguments.Exaggeration.
Strawman.
okExaggeration.
Strawman.
You need to when you are fielding three - four counter arguments at once. Besides, if you can't even frame my argument properly, then it deserves quick responses. I at least don't misrepresent others.Hopeless. I too can make one word dismissals of your arguments.
So calling out your lack of an actual argument is unfair to you?You need to when you are fielding three - four counter arguments at once.
It is a very clear argument. Which part don't you get?So calling out your lack of an actual argument is unfair to you?
Dismissing a post as exaggeration while not saying the same to Xix' is a human rights violation.Exaggeration.
Strawman.

are you being obtusely dense now because you cant admit you were wrong for onceYes but Ashwin won't be remembered really for a 3fer all said and done. His wasn't the most notable performance in the series victory.
its the same **** for any Asian player sadly Chandimal has played some great knocks but they get dismissed because he got them at home or in IndiaFor Non Asian player eg Pat Cummins , away from home is New Zealand so if he performs in New Zealand he's doing great in terms of away performance .. but different rules for Asian player ..Ashwin gets Sangakkara 4 times out of 4 in Sri Lanka , this is a batsman with one of the highest Test averages in history and got outplayed by Ashwin but you don't acknowledge it cause for some reason away from home for Asian player is only if it's in SENA ..when did India ever win in Australia? Ashwin helps the team win twice but you ignore it cause he didn't get 5for ...The only place Ashwin really didn't perform was SA and he can set that right later in the year but you will probably say SA team had weak batting line up , so basically Ashwin can never win with your views I think.
this is the objectively correct takeBoth are scientists.
Ashwin sometimes try too many things even in helpful conditions.
Cummins likes to tinker with fielding positions after every shot.
It makes no sense. How is it reasonable to say home dominance is forgettable and generally diminish Ashwin's record as a spinner? Please don't lie to everyone here about being logical or whatever, it's clearly not the case.It is a very clear argument. Which part don't you get?
Cummins has already performed at a worldclass level in Pakistan, SA and England. Yeah he needs to improve in SC but he is well on his way to ATG level and still has time. For Non Asian player eg Pat Cummins , away from home is New Zealand so if he performs in New Zealand he's doing great in terms of away performance .. but different rules for Asian player ..Ashwin gets Sangakkara 4 times out of 4 in Sri Lanka , this is a batsman with one of the highest Test averages in history and got outplayed by Ashwin but you don't acknowledge it cause for some reason away from home for Asian player is only if it's in SENA ..when did India ever win in Australia? you’re proving his point by including South Africa and England thereCummins has already performed at a worldclass level in Pakistan, SA and England. Yeah he needs to improve in SC but he is well on his way to ATG level and still has time.
Ashwin is not near there in SENA and his career is ending.
What series will be hailed and remembered in 2030 from India at home in the 2010s?It makes no sense. How is it reasonable to say home dominance is forgettable and generally diminish Ashwin's record as a spinner? Please don't lie to everyone here about being logical or whatever, it's clearly not the case.
