Actually, it seems we've hit the wall in terms of this particular thread, and from here on in too many people are voting against players they don't want in, rather than for players they do.

Perhaps it's time to cut losses and leave it as a Top 20, to save missing the point of the exercise any further going down to 25. I think I'd be right in saying we're all reasonably happy with the list up to this point?
Nah Barrington not in and too many of the modern players are too high

Meh, i've said before their is about 20 better batsmen then Trumper let and atleast 4 Australian openers. But i wouldn't be surprised if his hype and lack of competition for best batsmen in era, gets him through.
Mate, not having a go at you, just a general comment - we've gone around circles for days on this one and we both know how we think and that the other has a wildly different opinion. I just don't think we're getting anywhere with this any more!

I'd agree with you on the modern-player bias, I'd have it slightly different too. But the list as it stands isn't going to change, and the voting (whoever you support from here on) is becoming a bit of a farce now. Just my thoughts.

Ridiculous.

EDIT: Even better, Chris Martin
Ever heard of a majority? Public poll? Democracy? Trumper getting in isn't the end of the world, so stop being an ass.

I'm just trying to follow up Trumper with a batsman of slightly lesser skill.
We all know you don't rate Trumper. Your job right now is to pick the best of the rest. Please stick to that and cut out the attitude. 8-)

Well, since you're a fellow Indian pace hater, fine.

Gilchrist Though I don't feel right voting for Hayden, Gilchrist, Barrington, etc if they are to appear AFTER Trumper. But thats democracy, gotta move on.

UPDATE: Hayden 2, Barrington 1, Gilchrist 1, Kallis 1

This has turned into a bit of a farce lately ... not because Trumper got in but because some of you can't seem to comprehend the idea of a democratic vote. Let's get those votes in now and finish this off well.
