Which reminds me, Adam Gilchirst officially called himself a 'Sandgroper' last night. HE'S OURS!!!:P

NSW looking pretty shaky. NSW lost two very quick wickets before Clarke came and settled things (but he's out now :()

What's that saying? If Clarke can't do it, no one can.

Nothing better than NSW struggling.

Except India struggling :)
you might be in for a good day neil :)

though NSW are still in with a chance, Thornley im sure will be heaps keen to impress with his 4d batting and still Haddin, Lee and nicholson to come so there is a little batting left.

I would trade innings defeats for both of them for a one-wicket win for England.

Still, 66/4 is all good.

So I gather India isn't?

based on Zaheer not playing and Kumble not really being able to turn it much on a first day pitch - and the batting form of the whole batting lineup in form well not really for mine, though - anything can happen

Keep in mind that the track is not exactly a bowler's paradise and India have Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid, Laxman, Sehwag, Agarkar, most of whom have been known to score a run or two.

(Points to spot the odd one out.)

74 and 4 overs for 5 runs. Yeah pretty useful.
Who says he's not an allrounder!!:D

Brett Lee can hold the bat, so his score today, whilst a pleasant sight, is not a complete surprise.

If he can get some wickets, he may be touted as our next all rounder...

:D
