2015 wi attack in wi was not hopeless by any means, no batsmans scored 50+ when Smith made that 199.
And 2024 attack was also not hopeless.
It was, at the time, deemed the worst attack to ever tour Australia and in the home series it's where Adam Voges averaged infinity so that was indeed pretty hopeless, you underrated how hopeless Australia batting (bar Smith) can look outside their preffered flat wickets at the time. I did not include 2024.

The early to mid 80s India/England attacks were absolutely terrible. Roach is a legit good bowler. If we're writing off Smith's runs vs them as minnow bashing, why exactly should we treat Vivs runs against attacks with the likes of Mohinder Amarnath, arshad ayub etc bowling a significant number of overs as anything different.

I agree, take out all his runs against India after the Quaret retired.

I won't put runs against mid 2010s Windies anything but a level behind runs against 1950s New Zealand tbh
