i think the biggest question is how the hell hondo can be this effective, even against bangladesh ?

Seems like he's bowling reasonably straight (2 bowled and 1 LBW, along with 2 caught behinds and then 1 due to a catch fairly close in on the leg side)

Maybe that's what England aren't doing right!

yeah sounds like he's bowling very full and moving it round a bit too, don't think the cricinfo writer can believe it either,

38.3 Hondo to Aftab Ahmed, OUT: full ball, on leg stump, drives it in
the air off his toes to short midwicket, Matsikenyeri flies
towards his right and takes a fantastic catch, Hondo gets his 5th
wicket, first time in test cricket, Hondo got 5 wickets!

What a shame Taibu missed out on his maiden Test Century !!

Zim on top at the Moment !! This battle for the Wooden Spoon is very entertaining and tight !

I hope Bangladesh can do better in the second innings and wrap up their maiden Test series !

I can't quite believe this. Hondo- six wickets! Well done to him, and to Tatenda Taibu. Zimbabwe should win this.

Enamul's on a hat-trick and just one wicket away from a car (8 wickets or a century in this test series gets a car). He needs it too, he's running his family on his own.

This Test Match is heading for a tight finish !!

Wooden Spoon Title goes to the crunch !!
My opinion of Taibu as a captain gets lower with every match that he delays coming higher up the batting order himself.

HOOOOOOOOOONDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

(anyone who counts how many times ive done that in a post wins a prize).

a legend of the sport finally gets his reward.

i must say, mortaza is looking World-class. his bowling average is getting lower by the day! and some good hitting down the order as well it seems.

Mashrafe's really improved his batting when he was off with injury. Just wait until he gets his pace back up! Rafique's bowled well again on one-leg he really is a quality player and a great team man. Enamul's picked up his 1 wicket and with it won a car but Bangladesh really are in dire straights.

Taibu has a very good chance of getting his maiden test century. I dont think he will mind that it is against Bangladesh. He will be aiming for a test victory to recover some lost pride.

Congratulations Tatenda Taibu on a well deserved maiden Test century!

The only man holding up this Zimbabwe 3rd XI.

Enamul Haque (7/95 & 5/105) and Taibu (85* and 153) in a dead-heat for MotM here. 374 is alot more than Bangladesh managed in their first innnings but I think it will be a very close finish.

I'd give Taibu the green light for MOM because he's carried Zimbabwe singlehandedly. If he'd gotten out then the totals would both be below 200. If Enamul hadn't taken the wickets whoever was bowling at his end would have. Rafique got him a lot of wickets this test from putting the batsmen under pressure. Taibu's input into this game was more valuable.
