Oh, he's popular alright, but the problem is he's also past it.
He is, but a good choice for an English representative given everyone else was busy in SA. The Aussie crowds have always loved him.

I haven't watched last night's first innings yet, but I have definately seen him out slogging in the one-dayers on a few occasions. I'm not being sensitive, just stating my opinion. One-dayers are a slogfest at the start and end of the innings, I had presumed that the original post was referring more to Gilchrist in tests - rightly or wrongly.[/QUOTE

Hope you get a chance to watch ROW batting from last night then because it was a real showcase of oneday batting at its best...Particularly Ponting and Cairns

Why is Afridi forever mentioned in "world team" discussions?

The only thing he is consistent with is being inconsistent.

Razzaq wouldn't made the asian XI either if i was selector, but even he is more consistent than Afridi.

That said, I didn't think he looked too bad last night. He certainly bowled better than his figures would have indicated.

5 overs for 50 runs is very consistent for razzaq.. :S he's been in terrible form all summer, afridi at least got a few runs under his belt in the last test, and can hit the balls a mile. Asia had no firepower down the order to save them in the event of the top order failing, which is what happened.

Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
What was even more frustrating about Razzaq was the amount of bloody no balls he bowled.

Two wrongs is a right? I do pay for my cable to the operator and its not about this.

I am ****ed at piracy in a match which is all for charity. You guy arent making money but could be preventing others making money whose money would help charity.

And why would you do it even if its 1-2 mins if the site owner James has personally asked you constantly not to do it? On his site as well.

If you would have been living overseas like me and sehwag you probably would have done the same thing.
and you would have not been stupid enough to pay 200 dollars to buy the match.

Stupid enough to pay money toward charity?

That's no justification for piracy.

Hell no one care's about piracy other wise there would have not been 1000000 people downloading game's non stop.

Are you mad? No one cares about piracy?!? Is that why massive media attention has been placed on piracy and eradicating it? Man, turn on the TV once in while. Catch up on what's going on in the world.

It's sad that some can't afford to attend or watch cricket given certain circumstances, but that still doesn't justify piracy. Would you steal food from a store if you couldn't afford it? If yes, then you need to sort out some morality issues.

People kill other people every day. Does that make it right?
I never asked you if it happens. I asked you if it is right.
Last word on the topic... whether or not you wish to engage in piracy is entirely your business. However, it has no place on CricketWeb.

ahem...every cable tv subscriber in India has been supporting piracy either unwittingly or otherwise...

Whatever it takes!!!
Would it be called piracy if the match was not available in that particular country and hence someone downloaded it off the net? I live in India and I get the channels that generally show all the cricket, but I am just curious to know more about this piracy business.

This might be the worst argument against piracy ever. If somebody is stealing food because they can't afford it, the society they live in needs to sort out it's morality issues, not the "thief".

The Franciscans might like a debate on the morality of this, too. Not that I'm defending piracy, but jeez, I think people are confused about the issue.

No body is confused but they are arguing about a discussion that has nothing To do with them.Piracy is a big problem in usa people download music instead Of buying the album. The problem is not about money but it is about unfairness of dish netwrok and other companie's that charge people alot of Money.

Cricket is becoming a joke some people installed dish in there homes because of cricket. Now direct tv signed a contract with icc for 6 year's so people who have dish will not recieve cricket for over 6 year's that is jut unfair to me.
If you wana do some thing do it right unlike dish network.

Yes it will indeed be called piracy if you downloaded of the net.But there is a Problem watching it on tv around north america. You have to pay 100s of dollars in roder to watch a cricket match. That is the reason people download cricket off the net and watch it live online.
