Seales!
Well both teams picked three specialist spinners, fairly expected.Turning square on day one eh
West Indies could have done with another seamer that can bat like a Holder/Mayers type playerWell both teams picked three specialist spinners, fairly expected.
Not convinced Warrican really adds much as third spinner that Hodge couldn't do anyway though.
Warrican is in there because of his captain’s preference ( both Bajans).Well both teams picked three specialist spinners, fairly expected.

Yeah that's why Greaves is there but another seam bowling allrounder could have been useful ahead of Warrican. Hodge can bowl more left arm spin if needed anyway.West Indies could have done with another seamer that can bat like a Holder/Mayers type player
KC is in. Cricinfo has Amir Jangoo as keeper. Now, here's Windies XI:
1. Kraigg Brathwaite *
2. Mikyle Louis
3. Keacy Carty
4. Kavem Hodge
5. Alick Athanaze
6. Justin Greaves
7. Tevin Imlach
8. Kevin Sinclair
9. Gudakesh Motie
10. Jomel Warrican
11. Amir Jangoo
12. Jayden Seales
This is the 12 that Windies have provided...JDS is dropped...Roach is injured, and Anderson Phillip unlikey to get picked on this wicket...
And they have confirmed a debut for Imlach...I think Jangoo gets a debut as well and he'll take the gloves (because he's the best gloveman in the region)
KC will have to make way...

Poor run of form (and perhaps something else).KC is in. Cricinfo has Amir Jangoo as keeper.
Anyway: somewhat surprised JdS was dropped. Thoughts?
Pakistan will stop making these pitches when someone takes 3-4 decent spinners there and beats them 3-0Turning square on day one eh
