I mean probably not, but the guy does average 100 runs per test against Sri Lanka already. So not all that out there.

Why are people going after @flibbertyjibber for stating truth ? WI are a garbage test side and don’t deserve a 3 match Test series .
Test cricket should only be played between top 6 sides : Aus , Ind , Eng , NZ , SA and Pak .
SL , WI , BAN , Afghanistan and Ireland should compete amongst themselves and top 2 should be promoted and bottom 2 of top 6 should be demoted after every 2 years

WIndies just drew an away series vs Australia.
I know that England are a much stronger side than Australia are, but I think WI earned a shot at a 3 Test series.

WI have won total 1 Test match vs AUS and IND in last 20 years . Upsets happen in cricket. It is not a big deal .

Upsets won't happen in cricket if you don't allow the teams to play each other.

@Sunil1z - Windies have performed well against England for a long time now. How they perform against other sides has no bearing on the length of the series they have against England.
FP is not wrong that yeah this Windies team have regressed but there is also enough talent which is never going to be harnessed unless they play more at this level. The A team stuff others brought up is probably the best way to deal with it but it comes down to who can pay for it, right?

Well surely if it was the big 3 then they help finance it as it is a win win all round. Their A players get experience in different conditions and the home players may improve playing against better players more often.@Sunil1z - Windies have performed well against England for a long time now.
