Wow, what a bad day for Pakistan. We need to shape up and bat better if we're to do well in South Africa. Razzaq should've been dropped for this test. We could've used another specialist bowler today, instead of an ODI specialist.

Pretty bad stuff from Pakistan today. Lets see which of the Pakistani bowlers can get the breakthroughs tommorow when things aren't in their favor. Good batting though from Gayle and Ganga.

Good stuff by the West Indies, great effort to reduce Pakistan to such a total considering their position overnight and Gayle and my man Ganga have set up the platform to what should be a decent first innings score. However on today’s evidence, Pakistan will now need to evaluate the composition of their side, far too many ‘all-rounders and not enough real bowlers is the most pressing of issues. And the worrying issue that Kaneria can not get a wicket for love or money.

Always the case though that Pakistan will roll up tomorrow exploit the indifferent early morning weather in Multan and roll out the West Indies but even if they do a third seamer needs ‘blooding’ before South Africa.

Great to see the West Indies put in a good batting display, I quite like both Chris Gayle and Darren Ganga and would realy enjoy it if they both picked up their games and showed what classy batsman they are. Let's hope the West Indies middle order can build on this and not do the usual calypso collapse that we have come to know in recent times.

Good stuff by Ganga and Gayle, but the pitch looks far too slow and flat to force a result IMO, unless it gets a bit more uneven. Mind you, that makes the WI 1st innings bowling effort that much better to restrict Pakistan to such a small total.

The man’s a genius, sure he had a nice platform to play anyway he so pleases but the punishment he has dished out today is awe inspiring. Kaneria got owned, well and truly. Pakistan have let the wheels come off, dropping catches and conceding over throws. They have lost the plot and with Lara still at the crease they could have a real job to do in the second innings to save this test match.
