I don't think the answer is to drop everyone who is established and pick an 'A' side. Then we really will get trashed, plus plenty of abuse from all departments and goodness knows what else...

Remind me how many people have actually scored runs in the ODI series aside from Nasser? You could count on one hand! Minus Nasser's contributions in this ODI series and England would have been thrashed and totally shamed.

Sorry mate...I didn't really say it right

What I ment was not changing the whole side, but say 4 or so... ie let Trescothick, Caddick, Stewart rest and replace them..... next match they return and replace say Vaughan and a couple of others rest etc

BTW this is for the Tests not the ODI

Hmmmm Caddick I'm all for but Tresco and Vaughan I'd rather keep in the team thankyou :D

Also with Hoggard, I think he needs to perform for Yorkshire to prove he's back.
So you'll leave him out of the World Cup then?

No chance, he is the future of our attack, and should be back in for the 4th / 5th Test and rest of the VB.

Vaughan's been out resting a niggle - so how exactly could he have done better without affecting his long term prospects?

We see the best of Caddick when he is Supporting an Opening Bowler Like Gough
But he shouldn't need someone at the other end to bowl well, he doesn't have Goughie with him at Somerset yet does ok....he is representing his country at the higest point and playing against the best side in the world at present...many people would dream to be in his place.

Also like someone said...he needs to step up and take over from Gough, because quite frankly iam doubting we will ever see him again, so does that mean Caddick will retire because he wont have Gough at the other end???

County cricket is a world away compared to test and international cricket

Knight made a ton and a fifty...
My point is that Nasser is contributing to the ODI team and should not be axed.

Lets see how many games Sri Lanka loose against Australia then we'll see if England have been shamed or it could be that the Aussies are just too strong for either team to beat...

Well done Paul Collingwood on a fine century.
England look like they have this game in the bag with Sri Lanka in deep poop at 58/4 or as Aussies say 4/58.

Craig White showing some skills with the bat of late. Good for him. Would someone tell me why Irani is still at 3?!?

He was rumoured to be out, but looks like he came back and did quite well.

All of a sudden England are winning games (because as I've always maintained, they're not as bad a side as a certain element seem to think they are!)

Certainly we put up a bit more of a fight in NZ :D

Because the selectors wanted to play an un-changed team although for what reason, other than they won last time, I have no idea. They also seem to have something against Adam Hollioake...

Anyway we won we won we won!!! AGAIN!!! :D :D :D *Dances*
