Sorry mate...I didn't really say it rightOriginally posted by Bazzaroodoo
I don't think the answer is to drop everyone who is established and pick an 'A' side. Then we really will get trashed, plus plenty of abuse from all departments and goodness knows what else...
Hmmmm Caddick I'm all for but Tresco and Vaughan I'd rather keep in the team thankyouOriginally posted by Rich2001

What I ment was not changing the whole side, but say 4 or so... ie let Trescothick, Caddick, Stewart rest and replace them..... next match they return and replace say Vaughan and a couple of others rest etc
BTW this is for the Tests not the ODI

So you'll leave him out of the World Cup then? Also with Hoggard, I think he needs to perform for Yorkshire to prove he's back.

Remind me how many people have actually scored runs in the ODI series aside from Nasser?

But he shouldn't need someone at the other end to bowl well, he doesn't have Goughie with him at Somerset yet does ok....he is representing his country at the higest point and playing against the best side in the world at present...many people would dream to be in his place.Originally posted by chris.hinton
We see the best of Caddick when he is Supporting an Opening Bowler Like Gough
Also like someone said...he needs to step up and take over from Gough, because quite frankly iam doubting we will ever see him again, so does that mean Caddick will retire because he wont have Gough at the other end???

My point is that Nasser is contributing to the ODI team and should not be axed.Originally posted by marc71178

Lets see how many games Sri Lanka loose against Australia then we'll see if England have been shamed or it could be that the Aussies are just too strong for either team to beat...Originally posted by age_master

er they have been by Aus
Vaughn could have done better
Because the selectors wanted to play an un-changed team although for what reason, other than they won last time, I have no idea. They also seem to have something against Adam Hollioake...Sunil Havascar said:Well done Paul Collingwood on a fine century.
England look like they have this game in the bag with Sri Lanka in deep poop at 58/4 or as Aussies say 4/58.
