I just can't understand why Hollioake isn't in the side or the WC squad. He appears to be in much better form than most, yet he can't get a game. Something is wrong with the selection process! What did Hollioake do to get dropped in the first place? He was always a very useful player.

Just what the hell is Harmison trying to prove?? Does he want to end up as the worst OD bowler ever ? (if he isn't one already).20 wides in two matches, in addition to some no balls:O .England should get rid of Harmison even if they have to bear the pain of recalling Mighty Hoggard.
And what is MR Wide doing in the WC squad???

Say NO to Harmison:!(

SL are currently the form team of the series...

England look as if they do not want to win after throwing away 2 strong positions.....

Aus have gone off the boil.....

I think Harmison is a pretty useful bowler, he's got bounce & pace, but yeah..if he doesn't get a good line & length he'll probably go for 50 odd.

It also appears that he struggles for rhythm alot.

Harmison may be quite useful in Tests, but as yet he is not of ODI quality. His fielding and accuracy must first improve.

Agreed! He can be a usefull bowler but first he will have to do something about the line and length!

Harmison has like no control over where the ball goies its shocking, they are better off bowling collingwood than him

Ok ok ok! Enough Harmison Bashing! He's like Shane Watson for Australia, not a OD bowler but training with the England Team and playing ODI cricket can only help him grow into a good bowler. If he keeps bowling wides then drop him, but give him a chance! He's only played in 4 ODIs!!! You guys have told me not to pass judgement on someone who hasn't played enough to get a good opinion on him...now you do the same!

Look what training with the England Team and being coached by Duncan Fletcher did to Vaughan, Trescothick, Hussain after that horror season he had. In a while we could end up with someone very useful! Just give him a chance!

Sri Lanka has lost to Australia and Murali is injured. This might just be the break England are looking for to upstage the Lankans and qualify for the final.

Well from watching the part of the game and the highlights all I can say is that I hope J.Langer has got his appolgy to the English Barmy Army ready. Have a go at us about Lee, yet the whole of the GABBA was allowed to continually chant No-Ball to Murli no questions asked, one rule for one and one for everyone else I guess......

Anyway onto the Cricket, Sri Lanka really need to work on their running between the wickets, serveral run outs plus endless appeals by the Aussies team (some fine fielding indeed though) and also speed up their bowling at one point with 4 spinners they were bowling at 12.4 overs per hour. And in the final 10 overs they bowled 5 overs in just over half an hour....

I thought it was very sad hearing dopey people in the crowd yelling "No-ball" as Murali bowled. Talk about flogging a dead horse. Just a sad display of ignorance really.

No excuse getting run out attempting a third at this level. Killed SL losing two key wickets like that.

No I don't want to, and I don't want England to either. He's played 70 FC and 42 List A games at Durham, and he still can't put the ball in the same post code as the stumps.

He's got 20 games this year - if he can stop bowling wides by September give him a chance then. For the time being we can't afford to sacrifice a world cup campaign 'to avoid damaging his confidence'.

We've had 4 years to play long term tactics, now we have 1 month left and they're wasting a spot in the side where someone like Hoggard could be gaining form and much needed practice by persisting with someone who shouldn't be in county cricket with that radar.

I agree he shouldn't be 1st choice in the ODI team but still, working with the England team can only help him improve!

Just saw some news about Darren Lehmann being reprimanded by the match referee for some racist outburst probably in the dressing room when he got out in the Aus-SL match.

Apparently it was in the dressing room. Must of been a loud one because the SLankans heard it through the wall it would seem. Big Dazza sent a letter of apology and it did the trick apparently, with the Lankans then appealing to Clive Lloyd to show leniancy.

They are all so used to winning that when they don't get their own way they act like spoilt brats...
