Sheesh even I'm not that optimistic! GO INDIA
You don't think they will reach the finals of the VB series? I think it is very unlikely that SL will mount a serious challenge in this tournament even with the inclusion of Murali. As far as winning the finals is concerned, it is a totally different story. In any case, you don't have to bring my nationality into focus on that one, it was just my opinion as an individual.

Well Blewie and Broncoman decided to start supporting teams which wouldn't compete in the WC so I chose India
Ahhh well they could do with some backing since I've slagged them off for ages :saint:

Unfortunately, all the backing of 1 billion fans plus you of course:) , doesn't count for much unless the performance of the team improves dramatically.

Australia's probable bowling attack for the match against Sri Lanka
(This is according to Ceefax, however...)

Brad Hogg
Shane Watson
Brad Williams
Brett Lee
Nathan Bracken

What price an upset?

What price on Brad Williams, Shane Watson and Brad Hogg going for 5 an over? Nice to see Bracken back in the eyes of some, I'm not sure why he was dropped in the 1st place!

is boof gonna be back ???

Watson i doubt will go for 5 an over this tuime, i think he will go for about 4.3 per over if he uses the slower ball well

bracken is an excellent bowler but i thought noffke is ahed of him in the line for the national team

Lehmann...he's got an Australia A game 1st (why oh why did we drop the A team?), Watson has an econ rate of 5 or close, Noffke is injured so I guess Bracken is next ahead? Wow...all these injuries...it's almost like England! But no one has claimed it's an embarrisment...

I'd be a bit warey of Williams and Hogg, who really hasn't done anything amazing of late to even get picked...

Watson still doesn't really look like a OD Bowler either...

Sri Lanka: all out for 65 after 25 overs...........

In two words;

WHAT THE....?

Pathetic batting. There was some movement in the air but the pitch is a belter. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Looks like they were lucky to get 65 with there being 26 extras including 17 wides. I've never seen such a low score in Adelaide. Will they play a 25 per over side tonight to get more practice in. Seems a waste to finish this early. It'll be over before the 3 and a half hour point.

Australia 'A' 0/56 with still well over an hour till the scheduled break....

And i must say it... BLEWY IS GOIN OFFFFF!!!!!!
