Aus have won the toss and decided to ball, cricinfo doesn't report any deduction in overs.

I often wonder why people using this website give a running commentary on what is happening on another website, e.g Cricinfo. Their fellow guests are obviously already on-line and can access the information from Cricinfo themselves quicker if they want it.
Am I missing something here?

Fiery,

Most often the commentary is paraphrased as a statement because posters are looking for comments from other boarders. Sometimes there are people who are just too lazy, or face other problems, in opening cricinfo. It also helps them.

Time for Inzamam and Yousuf to show the young 'uns at the top of the order how you play on a pitch like this...

It isn't the question of Butt showing form. I don't think he has had to contend with a pitch like this in his short carrier.

That said Brett Lee's bowling to Kamran Akmal was a brilliant bit of misdirection. Love it!

Hahaha Lehmann fell flat on his aris (thanks for that, BoyBrumby :D)

That's a 9.7 on the Richter scale.

Thousands of unlucky earthworms just lost their lives. Poor things. First they're forced out of their homes by the rain then they have Lehmann's entire ass landing on them.

Congrats to Inzy, he's playing in the right frame of mind; you have to go for the runs when they're there. In a low-scoring match every single run counts. Having said that, he could easily have left the wide one from Lee and picked up a free wide.

As I write, he top-edges a six!! Go Inzy!!

In Brad Hogg's last 13 ODI matches he has taken 24 wickets at 19.45 and made 144 runs at 48, how could you drop him.
because people simply cant get over the fact that he is a fairly decent player in ODIs.

Shahid afridi is the major player for pakistan at the moment.Runs are needed and inzy is doing the right thing by picking up runs constantly.Move shahid afridi up the order inzy that would be a great choice. If he could repeat the inning he played againts aus in prevoiuse match then pakistan would be in the driving seat for sure.

I am not sure this will be a low-scoring game if Pakistan manages to pass 15 overs with only 3 wickets lost.

Move Afridi up the order and die, more like it. Afridi has shown time and time again that his role is in the last ten overs, no matter how much his performances may warrant him spending more time at the crease.

If Pakistan can eke out 3-4 runs an over for the bulk of this innings, Afridi has a platform from which to explode later on, and it will count for so much more in the end. If he comes up the order and faces a hard, swinging ball, he doesn't have the control to leave the good balls.
