nah, mainly because of laziness and partially because the outfields of most grounds in Pakistan are pretty rough.

He has actually got one but it's just no bigger than your ordinary garden-variety pea.
Not only is he a chucker but he's a poser, a show pony and a bad actor (I'll spare you the obvious pun). I think I've seen him limping on the wrong leg he was supposed to have injured.
When the going gets tough, Shoaib gets a mystery ailment.
I don't like him.

I was watching the celebrations today for Merv Dillon's wickets in the Pakistan innings, earlier...

If Lee does the "Lawnmower" and The Shoaib does "The Aeroplane", what's Merv Dillon doing? It looks like the "Toss-off" to me.

Pakistan doing pretty well at this stage of the chase - I think the West Indians messed around too much, considering the wickets they had in hand. Although, considering some of the condemnation of Rana in this thread, I thought he bowled really well at the end of the Windies innings.

He bowled okay. Nothing spectecular. Better and more innovative batting would have done him in.

Not much being made of it right now, but I think Shoaib Malik just walked.

3/159. Still looking reasonably comfortable.

There it is. Kamran Akmal's first ODI 100. Top stuff. Brilliant innings.

I don't know about that. The wicket of Lara changed the game. Lara was absolutely dominating, and if he had stayed there to the end I think Pakistan may have been chasing something along the lines of 300 - 320. He got Powell for a golden duck too.

That was impressive from Akmal. Especially as he's been thrown in the deep end to open. Played well. Could see him vying with McCullum for world's best keeper/batsman soon. Oh yeah and...who's that Aussie guy with the wingnut ears?

Exactly. Lara innovated. Lara upped the ante, unsettled the Pakistani tempo.

IMO, It was a pretty ordinary performance from Sarawan. He looked pretty tired and haggard.

And an exceptionally good performance from Akmal. I am not sure we will see this from him again though.

Gilchrist?
Sangakara?

Even Boucher anyone?
Oh yeah, I forgot about Sangakkara. Never rated Boucher that highly but maybe that's because he's a yarpie and I'm yet to meet a nice yarpie.

Its really painfull to watch the windies trundlers at work. I dont think ive seen a more impotent "attack". When your strike bowler averages over 30, you know you got problems.

Yeah, where have all the big, fast and scary Windies bowlers gone? They had factories pumping them out in the 80s.

The bottom fell out of their domestic structure. It's the production line that makes a great team, not a few class players born at convenient times.

Not only did the Windies mess around with the bat, they screwed it up in the field. Lara just doesn't put pressure on at the right times. I know his bowling stocks aren't that great, but that means he has to be more innovative as a captain.

along the lines to what michael holding suggested, i would love to see the west indies go into their next match with an XI like this,

Gayle
Hinds/Chanderpaul
Sarwan
Lara*
Chanderpaul
Samuels/Marshall/Powell
Browne+
Bravo
Bradshaw
Dillon
King/Collins

admittedly gayle couldn't bowl but the part-timers the west indies tried to fill up 20 overs with looked terrible and as mentioned above the fielding was really bad, i don't know why they think they need so many batsman when they don't need it while neglecting the bowling department - it's like every XI they select is to chase a total
