Sign of an even game tbf but Australia can hardly complain after having such an opportunity on Day 2 with ball and bat and losing it not really due to brilliance but just poor undisciplined cricket
Well we did at Lords with the happy hooking half hour after Lyon got injured. Been so much braindead cricket this series from both sides.

Yeah the pattern of the first game has continued unabated - whichever team makes less mistakes, especially ones at critical moments, wins.

As others have said, a day to forget

Yeah, was surprised how ineffectual he was with the ball today.

And tactically he cancelled out Murphy as an option so Australia had three bowlers and an all-rounder all bowling RH pace all day.
I think he just looked tired tbh. He's done an awful lot of bowling in the last month.

wasnt at all conducive to a spinner. Should've played Neser and Hazlewood as a 4 man pace attack. we couldve won.
