He should've at least been our Gary Pratt.I'll always blindly believe that Gup could have averaged 40-odd at number five, and no one can definitively prove me wrong.

That's true. Stokes will only come in 7 or 8 now. Doesn't really make sense1 less batting partner before Stokes is left stranded.
And it's very, very possible. He's looking loose AF.If Root gets out anytime soon the whole changing room will be ****ting themselves.
Guptill is the sorta player who I think would've benefitted from the Bazball mindset, though having said that I don't think his record would improve that much, just too frail to the fuller ball with that angled backlift and those hard hands of his.I'll always blindly believe that Gup could have averaged 40-odd at number five, and no one can definitively prove me wrong.
More like get Neser a match because he hasn't played in 2 months. Then he'll be a fit reserve for 5th testFrom the Australian selectors: Fast bowler Michael Neser has been released from the Australian squad to play County Cricket for Glamorgan against Leicestershire at Sophia Gardens this week. Neser will rejoin the squad ahead of the fourth Test at Old Trafford in Manchester.
He's pretty much assured of a place for the 4th test imo, given the likely loss here. He should've played this test
He could still come in at 6 with Bairstow at 7.That's true. Stokes will only come in 7 or 8 now. Doesn't really make sense
Dunno. There were a lot from about 2000-2007 I can think ofAnyone able to answer if this current era has more left handed batsmen than any other ?
includes all countries
I wish we took note in England's 1st innings to the tail too.Hope the England bowlers take note for the next match, that bowling at the stumps and not ten foot over them, is a method to get batsmen out
