Doesn't matter who's bowling it'll be a miracle if India bat out tomorrow let alone Sunday.
hopefully england will be sucked into balling spinners tomorrow now....
Half hour of spin and the day'll be over judging by the last few overs. Was thinking the same. A day of spin coupled with rain would do nicely.
Nah mate, didn't you get the memo, India players don't get out to spin ever. Similarly, Sehwag is the best opener in the world and their batting line-up that hasn't passed 300 in the series is the greatest of all-time.Half hour of spin and the day'll be over judging by the last few overs.
True, Gambhir should be gone and KP was all over Dravid.Half hour of spin and the day'll be over judging by the last few overs.
.. Yeah spot on...Nah mate, didn't you get the memo, India players don't get out to spin ever. Similarly, Sehwag is the best opener in the world and their batting line-up that hasn't passed 300 in the series is the greatest of all-time.
He has done very well in Australia and has done well in the West Indies too.One has to wonder whether Sehwag’s own reputation gets to him these days. Either that or he’s been spoiled by the kind of pitches he gets back home that allows him to play in the manner in which he’s being playing over the past few years. Yeah it works….in the subcontinent. But, theres a reason why he hasn’t been scoring a lot of runs outside of the subcontinent for a while now and it’s not because he can’t (because he’s shown that earlier in his career he could). He just doesn’t seem willing to put in the effort to graft it out, and if he’s not willing to change that then he’s got serious problems.
yup. needs to get his eye in at least before going for the shots. One has to wonder whether Sehwag’s own reputation gets to him these days. in NZ he kept getting out to vettori.... trying to slog himHe has done very well in Australia and has done well in the West Indies too.
The only real places he has had trouble so far are South Africa,Newzealand and England.
(Though in SA in low scoring matches his 20/30 quick runs have been important in some matches) That is probably about 10 to 15% of the cricket he plays at most so probably doesn't feel a need to change his game and don't think he is in any serious trouble with regards to it in the India team as long as he guns it in the rest.
Though he certainly needs to watch a bit first in such conditions.
We'll see tomorrow properly.Half hour of spin and the day'll be over judging by the last few overs.
