He's not back to his best certainly, but the level of improvement today is ominous if it continues through to the second week of the French.

Murray a set and a break up against Nadal in a clay final. There's something I never thought I'd say.

If anyone can come back to beat him though, this is the man.

Stan da man. Quality clay player.

It's looking bad for Nadal at the moment I'll admit. I've got my hopes up too much in the past to assume he won't win the French though.

Not a fan of Brad? I like him.

Anyway this has gotta be the most open French since 2006. Definitely since 2011, and I reckon its more open this year than back then.

but i don't see how you can call it open...djokovic is almost as prohibitive a favorite this year as nadal was in past years...

But there isn't a feeling of inevitability about Djokovic's win. He is more beatable/prone to being shocked than Nadal used to be in those days.

Will be vying for Kyrgios and Wawrinka.

Djokovic can win his 3rd clay 1000 event in a row tomorrow. He also would probably hold the last three French Opens if Nadal didn't exist. He's far ahead of the rest of the field on clay IMO.

Have to say, he has taken it to another level. That was brutal. In fact, Federer won a lot of points at the net there, which is not something that comes up too much on clay.
