Haha, yeah. Li Na's game is hardly what you'd call nuanced, though she played with loads of maturity in this tournament. But Clijsters does a lot more than smash the ball from the baseline. You don't accumulate a record like hers by just doing that. Still, this is >>>>> a Wozniacki/Zvonareva match.

I might yet watch the match tomorrow.. depends on my other plans. Just don't care for either of them.

Kim was losing the first 1.5 sets solely because all she did was go toe to toe from the baseline and was getting dominated.

Kim is a great retriever as well and is very very very awesome at what she does, but she's not a Henin or Hingis or anything in terms of finesse which people seem to cream themselves over.

She's certainly no Henin or Hingis in terms of variety. Her backhand is a pretty awesome stroke to watch when she gets on a bit of a roll, amazing angles and depth.

Be hoping Murray wins. Sure he's Scottish and that's terrible, but Djokoviic is just too easy to hate at a personal level.

Just saw Aussie Kim on the news, and after she won they took her down to the most picturesque part of Melbourne, the edge of Port Phillip Bay. There she was ankle deep in the fetid, flat waters of a place that was basically as depressing a vista as it's possible to have by the water.

It was like Kurnell without the oil refinery. Sadly, it was the best of Melbourne.

Look mate, it seems to be accepted wisdom in the world of CW that if you have an affinity with somewhere then you can call yourself that. Like Richard calling himself Welsh when he isn't, Corrin saying Tranmere are a football team when they aren't, and Murphy asserting he's not a ****.

True it is that it's mostly Poms who say these things because their cricket team contains about three non-Saffies, but what's good for the geese is good for the tennis talent deprived.

Last night at the presentation Aussie Kim said she was happy to go by that name, so that name it is.
