getting hitched killed Hewitt, should have done like Federer and stayed a bachelor till he was ready to retire.

Jess Moore serving for it over on fox sports 2, her opponent is falling apart physically should win now.
That was an exciting match, McHale was very courageous in defeat.Would have been tragic if Moore lost.

Moore, Gucc, Dokic, Tomic, Klein all through to the second row is a good effort.

I reckon Ball could defeat Berrer here.

Stosur started off awesomely and completely petered off after that. Though she did win the 2nd set tie-breaker 7-0, but she was definitely helped there by Zakopalova.

But if she can play as she did at the beginning consistently throughout a match, she'll be a very good player.

Was stoked with Haas' win last night too, even showed the last 2 or 3 games on Fox Sports so it was good to see. Hopefully he gets a chance to destroy Rafa in the third round.

At least Stosur is well fit. Casey's appearance the night before was as dire as an elite athlete's can be. I know she's been injured but so has Stosur, and the contrast in their conditioning couldn't have been greater.
Love the commentators *****-footing around Delaqua's lack of fitness - "Her court movement isn't a strength"; "She wants to shorten the rallies as mobility is a problem for her". Just come out and say it - she's not fit enough to compete at that level against better players in the condition she's in right now.

You couldn't say that's the best set Ivanovic has ever played, but she got there at least.

Brianti was absolutely trounced here by Wozniacki (6-0 6-1 I think it was), maybe she's improved an awful lot since then.

Safina has dropped the first set, bit of a surprise, reckon she'll come back and win the match and will drop less than 6 games in the final 2 sets.

Ivanovic's serving definitely needs work. Those two consecutive doubles to hand Brianti the break summed it all up for me.

Erakovic seemingly outclassed in the first set 6-1, but is fighting back as always, up a break 3-1 in the second.

I saw Stosur bushwalking a few months back in the Gold Coast Hinterland...she's a fit looking girl. Isn't Lyme Disease from a tick!? Maybe a hobby she should abandon! haha
