That was an exciting match, McHale was very courageous in defeat.Would have been tragic if Moore lost.Jess Moore serving for it over on fox sports 2, her opponent is falling apart physically should win now.
She's easy on the eye, must be said.Isabella Holland putting in a solid performance here too
Battle of the chokers, that one. The Czech looked like a Norwegian U14 player in the tie-break.Stosur broken while serving for the set...twice.
A shame she's 16, I'm not against a bit of an age difference but 8 years could be pushing it!She's easy on the eye, must be said.
More of a shame if she were 15, tbf.A shame she's 16, I'm not against a bit of an age difference but 8 years could be pushing it!
At least Stosur is well fit. Casey's appearance the night before was as dire as an elite athlete's can be. I know she's been injured but so has Stosur, and the contrast in their conditioning couldn't have been greater.Stosur started off awesomely and completely petered off after that. Though she did win the 2nd set tie-breaker 7-0, but she was definitely helped there by Zakopalova.
But if she can play as she did at the beginning consistently throughout a match, she'll be a very good player.
I saw Stosur bushwalking a few months back in the Gold Coast Hinterland...she's a fit looking girl. Isn't Lyme Disease from a tick!? Maybe a hobby she should abandon! hahaAt least Stosur is well fit. Love the commentators *****-footing around Delaqua's lack of fitness - "Her court movement isn't a strength"; "She wants to shorten the rallies as mobility is a problem for her". Just come out and say it - she's not fit enough to compete at that level against better players in the condition she's in right now.
